finegan LQ Guru Registered: Aug 2001 Location: Dublin, Ireland Distribution: Slackware Posts: 5,700 Rep:	Right now, any distro you add acpi support to, and SuSe 8.2, that's it. Acpi didn't make it into the stock kernel until recently and although all the distros add a few patches here and there, none of them but SuSe have taken laptops seriously enough for my tastes. Offhand, Gentoo also has solid acpi support... The next release of pretty much everything should handle acpi a little better, hopefully. Cheers, Finegan
