I now have my very own Zaurus 5500 with OpenZaurus and Opie 3.5.3 installed. Lucky me! I am a little confused though. Being new to the PDA world, I imagined that all of the software sizes once installed would be very small but using a 48/16 install I cannot seem to install Konqueror. Or very much at all. Perhaps I have other issues (other than space?). I understand that if I want to do a 64/0 install, I will need an sd card permanently inserted into my Zaurus for all software. My real question is this : how much storage space do I need for a web-browser, email client, irc and Hancom apps? Plus a few other bits and pieces. Of course, I understand that there is no such thing as a "typical" install and I am almost asking "how long is a piece of string"

I just want a rough idea. Will a 256mb sd card be plenty for most needs? The original Sharp OS was a 32/32 install I believe and that seemed to have everything by default. Am I missing the point somewhere? Should I be able to have the above apps on a 48/16 install?
Thanks.
PS I am amazed at how easy the setup of the Zaurus is, particularly my wifi card.
