How do you find Bluetooth in deepin

I just installed deepin and nowhere can I find bluetooth

Ztcoracat 03-18-2019 08:09 PM

Hi & Welcome to Linux Questions-:)

Find out if Bluetooth is installed.

To find out run this:

Code:

dpkg -L bluez
https://thelinuxcode.com/enable-bluetooth-ubuntu/

This might help too:

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...re-4175625187/

If you still have trouble look for Bluetooth or bluez in your Synaptic Package Manager.

I believe it is installed however I cannot find any icon for the Bluetooth

Ztcoracat 03-19-2019 02:36 PM

If Bluetooth is installed it would show in your system tray or somewhere on the desktop.

Try looking in your settings. What happens when you run this command?

sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth start

Bluetooth issues

This is what happened , however I still have to restart to see if it appears!

rtstxtrdnr@rtstxtrdnr-PC:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth start
[sudo] password for rtstxtrdnr:
[ ok ] Starting bluetooth (via systemctl): bluetooth.service.
rtstxtrdnr@rtstxtrdnr-PC:~$

It doesn't look like it's installed.

What is the output of:

Code:

dpkg -L bluez

Ok-

Is there a chance that your bluetooth device is blocked?
Run this to see if it's blocked:

Code:

sudo rfkill list
If it still doesn't work look here:

rtstxtrdnr 03-19-2019 04:24 PM

T is not blocked and it worked fine before I installed it, Still nothing
