How do I tether my Verizon Voyager LG1000 to my Asus 901 Linux

I am completely incompetent with using the terminal. Please provide step by step newbie type instructions, I'd be incredibly grateful - thanks

Are we talking about USB, or Bluetooth?

Should we also assume you are running the stock Xandros OS on the Eee?

Tethering Voyager to Asus 901

Yes I am using usb, but would like to try bluetooth, let's go with usb 1st. I am using a totally 'stock' Asus 901 as shipped with whatever Linux it came with. THANK YOU for replying!

So you want to connect your phone to your netbook.. but what is the intended outcome ?

Are you looking to gain internet access with your netbook via the phone ? (EVDO modem)

I see the phone has bluetooth, and a USB cable, I just don't know what it is you are trying to accomplish with the connection.

Understanding the goal will better direct the assistance you receive.
