How do I disable firewire from loading


I need help learning how to disable firewire. It looks like I can do it in the /etc/sysconfig files...
but I am to simple to figure it out

If fedora uses modules for firewire and loads them with hotplug then you can disable the loading of said modules by adding them to /etc/hotplug/blacklist
