High power consumption after reinstallation

Hello there,
I just want to ask, if someone of you can help me.
Before reinstalling my Asus NV56VV, my battery life was around 5 hours. Now i reinstalled to the SAME system and it stays charged for only 2 hours. Can you please help me?

Im using Linux Mint 15 64bit Mate, Gnome fallback Desktop Environment, which is same like before reinstallation.

I've already tried spinning down disks and turning on laptop_mode.

I've tried things like updating kernel, but it's still same.
And I noticed that my laptop produces more heat.
Please help!
