help!!!! problem with keyboard on microsoft virtual pc


hey guys ,i have installed rhel4 on microsoft virtual pc 2007 on my compaq presario laptop(v3000 series)...from then it has started taking multiple characters in a single keystroke everytime.so i cant do anything....also right click is also not working as it should be...i have to hold it to keep the screen appearing..... i have tried increasing the ram but it didnt worked... earlier i had to boot using noapic nolapic option as it was not detecting the hard disk .....please help....
