You'll probably need to install the madwifi drivers, see here for more info:

Now I have the madwifi-20060331 exe file on the linpus desktop, but
when I right click on it and choose execute, nothing happens.

I olso have a xf86 svga.exe file for my gfx, same thing, nothing happens. :-(

When I right click and say properties, it comes up with the name, kind of file(exe)
But where it says open with: noaplication selected. I dont know wich program to choose

SO Help is needed :-)

Thanks
Nicky

I`m very new to Linux

I don't know much about Linpus, but it seems to be Fedora based, so download the rpm and try to install it:

how do I open/install the rpm file?

H_TeXMeX_H 03-01-2009 09:25 AM

See here:
http://tldp.org/HOWTO/RPM-HOWTO/use.html

Hopefully Linpus at least has a terminal / console app maybe konsole, gnome-terminal, xterm, so either use sudo or su to gain more privileges if necessary, then install the rpm as said above.

Now, I don't run Linpus, and I have no clue how things are done on it, so it's best that someone help you that knows about it, otherwise I may be way off base with my answers ...
