don't know but it came with my Satellite toshiba
A25-S307
P4 2.8 gig
60 Gog hard drive
is
a WI-FI wilreless LAN
I RESEARCHED I LITTLE MORE AND i THINK WIRELESS IS CALLED
Atheros Wi-Fi™ (802.11a/b)

hmm... according to the specs, it looks like it could be an agere, atheros, or a toshiba blue tooth kit. not sure. any way you can find that out? my guess it's the atheros since the agere is only 802.11 a.

anyway, looks like both agere and atheros have support for linux, but i don't know about their integrated card kits.

man so much to ask...
where in linux can I find all the device manager of all my hardware installed in my laptop?
how can I test if my wireless is working?
how can I put a driver into a system?
or how can I load a driver into my system that I just download it and I got it in my floppy disk?
running crazy wireless is the only thing that i can figure that out..
please remember that this is my first encounter with linux and I LOVE IT.. but I need to start from the begining.. this is not microsoft...

please help and I do follow this thead for new ideas..
