Question Help - installing without cdrom or floppy

Hi there,
I have a HP Omnibook 900. I want to load Linux of course.

All I have is a DOS command line and nothing else.

I do not have a cdrom or floppy disk that I can attach to it. (It needs a special external caddie).

I have a network card 3com megahetz 100mhz PCMCIA.

The laptop has a parallel port and a usb port (no dos drivers here)

How do I do this? Ideas anyone?

I know this might be a big challenge, can anyone help?

Thanks

If you have the NIC working under DOS, you should be able to get bootable floppy or cd images onto another computer, then transfer them over the network onto the laptop. you should then be able to use loadlin to boot those images.

Thanks for your note.

My problem is I do not have the network drivers on. I can't get them on or I would have made a bootable floppy or cd.
