well. said i would so ere ya go. still couldn't get the cd rom to pick up so no joy on the recommendation.

allis not lost though. are kid (brother) has a handy little hard drive caddy he uses for his lappy pc, usb thingi me bob. kill disk and the caddy and it will get wiped on the pc via dos with any luck, so should be sorted.

ta all for the advice anyway, and will odds on be back soon to pick your brains again once the buggers clean !!
