Has anybody tried the latest driver for Intel integrated graphics on Debian?

it is .rpm so would just converting it to .deb then install it would be enough?

Is the latest driver "from intel" suppose to be better or is it just for curiosity/problems to solve?

With xfree intel drivers and the intel drivers built-in in a custom kernel, there should be no need for these drivers. If you don't want to compile the kernel you can try to auto-configure xfree and the intel drivers in the kernel.

i have compiled all the intel integrated modules in my kernel :)

i now use i810 and i830

the one from intel is i915 .

just rmmod i830 and modprobe i810?
