Good Tablet PC?

Hello all-

I'm looking for a good tablet PC. I've got a Toshiba Portege 3500 right now (currently running FC5), which I love but I think it is time to upgrade.

What I'm looking for:
- large screen (14"+)
- bootable internal DVD drive
- wireless + ethernet port
- good Linux support for power management
- long battery life

The 3500 has been a workhorse for me for years (survived several foreign countries), but is plagued by a lack of internal CD or DVD drive, no power management support in Linux (Toshiba apparently used a funky manufacturer for this particular model, the usual power tools don't work), and short battery life.

Anyone out there got a model that they like? Anything to avoid?

...with randr support!

I almost forgot the most important thing: I want xrandr support!

The 3500 also doesn't support that (or at least, the driver for my videocard doesn't).

With a tablet, you really need xrandr support.
