Got linmodem going - need help with symbolic links

Just new to the world of Linux...

After much struggle I've finally got my Lucent win/linmodem going with Mandrake 10 on a Dell Inspiron 8000.

The only thing now is that I have to issue two commands every time I boot to get the modem to work properly:

As root:

unlink /dev/modem
ln -s /dev/ttyLT0 /dev/modem

Is there any way to automate this process or is there something else that I can do to fix the problem?
