gerecom lost all ability to access the cdrom/dvd/cd-rw

I have never had a problem until now, as the subject is the question.
The story is I did a upgrade every thing went well . when I rebooted I had losed the ability to mount the cdrom in any form dvd/music/data.
It returnes /dev/cdrom dose not exist.
the links in the
div/cdaudio --> div/cdrom
div/dvd --> div/cdrom

warning: process `update' used the obsolete bdflush system call
Fix your initscripts?
ide-scsi is deprecated for cd burning! Use ide-cd and give dev=/dev/hdX as device
