Gentoo: emerge system fails

Hi , i'm having a huge problem installing Gentoo Stage 1 on my Notebook (Acer Aspire 1501LMi)

emerge system fails:

making install-shlibs in lib/et

...

make[1]: Leaving directory '/var/tmp/portage/e2fsprogs-1.34/work/e2fsprogs-1.34/lib/et
making install-shlibs in lib/ss
make: *** [install-shlibs-libs-recursive] Error 1

!!! ERROR: sys-fs/e2fsprogs-1.34 failed.
!!! Function einstall, Line 388, Exitcode 2
!!! einstall failed

i tried it 2 times and always ended up with that error message and got no clue why it occures

This fourm can't help you

Please goto the gentoo fourm they will be able to help you better
also if your having problems with the stage 1 install then do a stage 3
also don't use genkernel to compile your kernel it will break follow the tuts to compile your
kernel ------goood luck
