Function keys only start working after suspension in Linux Mint

Hi everyone!

My problem is that the Fn keys on my Toshiba L305 works fine, but only after a suspension cycle.
Also acpi_listen doesn't catch anything until I suspend the machine.
Maybe there are some scripts executed on suspension/wake up that I can copy and execute on startup (???).
Appreciate any help on this issue!!

Many thankssss
