FREAKING OUT! (No BIOS time under Satellite 315CDT!!)

I'm trying to Install Vector Linux on an old Toshiba Satellite 315CDT...

All goes well until it actually starts trying to install and I get all these error messages about the timestamp on the file being from some 784768 (some high number like that) seconds into the future!!

That makes sense because I boot up with DamnSmall and the time is like April of '03

No biggie right? I go into the BIOS to change the system time.. and ugh... I can't find a listing for the time!!! I KNOW THERE HAS TO BE ONE...

This doesn't make any sense.. anybody have one that they could take a look at??

hi there

whe u enter ur bos ae u sure that u have full rights to that
coz in some bios there is option of user and supervisor passwords

so if u are entering in bios after user password then u may not get all option

regards

No... I'm in as full priviledges.. There is no password set on this particular BIOS.... thanks anyways...

Oh, and I also tried to set the time through DamnSmallLinux using the standard command..

"date 092214322004"

And it effectively changed the time/date under DSL.... but upon rebooting and trying to install Vector, I got the same errors again...

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:41 PM.
