Floppy disk install

Our pc tech class (good stuff) found an ancient laptop (386/387, 16MB ram, full sized HD, floppy) and I was wondering if there is a version of Linux that runs (or installs) entirely off of floppy disks?

What is the HD size? 20, 40meg MFM drive? how about the floppy. Is it 720 or 1.44?

It is a 210MB drive (probably mfm) and it's a 1.44mb drive
