Surely (read: very probably) is, but only after somebody has created a suitable Linux-based operating system for it. It's not like you just download a kernel and a bunch of files, copy them over and hope it works -- it's much more complicated (if you take a look at other projects, like iPod Linux, you'll notice it does take some time and effort to have Linux based operating system run on special devices like portable players, mobile phones etc.)
If you ask that question it seems you don't yet have enough knowledge to do the job yourself from the beginning; this means you would have to find a complete project ready to be used. I'm not sure at all such thing exists, for obvious reasons (takes a lot of time, resources, effort, and after that the phone model is old already, and probably the original Windows works a lot better with it because it's designed specially for it along with the phone hardware), but if it did exist, I'm sure search engines found it for you.
