Firefox Quantum 61.0.1: a way to make web browser stop while downloading some page.

Hi: Suppose I go to www dot wikipedia dot org and there is some malfunction between source and destination. I mean the web browser never ends downloading the page. What if I want it to stop and leave the page as it is (perhaps it has already filled part of the screen with intelligible information but is still trying to download the rest). I remember in some older versions there was a key combination I could strike and the browser halted. Is there anything like it in Firefox Quantum 61.0.1?

The reload button/icon typically changes from an arrow to a X during webpage downloading. If you click on the X page loading stops.

The keyboard shortcut is F5 or ctrl-R to reload and Esc to stop. There could be differences between versions:
