Fedora7 cpu speed problem
Hi there... I have a problem with my Fedora7 and the cpu speed. I have a Dell Precision M70 laptop, and I have installed Fedora 7 on it. The problem is that when I am working on my laptop, after a while the CPU speed goes to 800 MHz and never go up again. I put the CPU Frecuency Monitor on the top bar to see the speed of my processor, and I saw that the monitor controls the speed of the CP, if need more speed, the cpu goes up, if not, goes down. That is not the problem, the problem is that after a while the speed goes to 800 MHz and never goes up again and my computer moves very slowly. My processor can get from 800 MHz to 2 GHz and I don't know how to solve this. I have had this problem in the past, when I have Fedore Core 6, but I upgade to Fedora 7 and the problem desapear, but now, it come back.
Can any body help me?
