Fedora Core 3 and ATI Mobility Radeon 9700
 

Hey
I am trying to install fedora core 3 on my new laptop. Aopen 1557 with ati mobility radeon 9700.
I boot with CD1 and after "running /sbin/loader" it all goes black. Nothing happens after that point.
Any suggestions ?

I got myself around this problem by using my desktop screen during install.
When all was installed and ready to go I yanked it out, and this time it all went fine. It found my stuff and it all works. I think it's configured to be ati radeon 9600 instead of 9700 though, but at least I got it installed now!

To start the installation process, when you insert the first CD at the first prompt type "linux nofb" and hit "enter"
