fedora core 2 and usb mouse

Hi all! I've installed with success and some issues fedora core 2 (with kernel 2.6.6-1.427) on my laptop, a gericom blockbuster. The first one was with the touchpad, and I solved it with the driver from the synaptics site. Now the last and hard issue is with my usb mouse: it doesn't work and Idon't know why. After a first and quick looked at kernel config, it seems all ok! Can anyone help me?
Thanks MAX

USB Mouse/Fedora Core 2

I get the same problem. By adding the boot param nousb I can get it to boot up ok, but now (obviously) my usb mouse doesn't work. Any help (very) much appreciated with this.

Is it possible to roll back to an older version of the kernel where this problem doesn't exist?
