Fedora C2T2 CDplayer won't play

orgg and wav's play fine through xmms, aplay, and gui sound event still work. The only thing I can't get to work is the cdplayer to play a CD. It is so weird! The OSS and ALSA drivers seem to be working fine but the cdplayer just won'y play a CD. Any ideas?

CD audio won't play in XMMS. Everything else plays fine. Apparently, nothing will play from the CD but you can rip the CD and play it just fine.

Are you mounting the CD before you try playing it? try mount /dev/cdrom in terminal, then try to play the cd.
