Have you tried the suggestions in your other threads?

ahm_irf 09-18-2007 04:31 PM

yes i have tried but it did not work ...later in one thread I found that the fedora kernel versions later than 2.6.20 has support for SATA. I am using fedora linux kernel version 2.6.18.2 which according to this thread is not supported.

I could not tried it yet ...I will try it ..and I will acknowledge if it is successful.

You can also try the kernel options:
all-generic-ide noapic nolapic

Have you chek the BIOS for a PATA compatability mode?
