I tested further using redhat EL 3 installer, which i noted detects and loads AHCI module, HDD works as sda1 and sda2. Next, I tried Redhat EL4, which tried loading module ata_piix, HDD cannot be detected. This is the same case as for Fedora Core 4 installer. I tried adding module AHCI, but still doesnt detect my HDD?? Does anyone has any idea given that it works with AHCI in RHEL3, how can I get FC4 installer to do the same?
