Failing to install Mandrake 9.2 on DELL INSPIRON 7000
Hi,
I've problem to upgrade my DELL inspiron from MDK 9.1 to MDK 9.2
I've downloaded the 9.2 Iso's and burned the cd-roms.
When i boot the intsallation cdrom it boots it arrives to the stage when it asks me from where i want to install (i answer from the cd-rom drive) and it says:
I can't access a Mandrake Linux Installation disc in your CDROM drive (TOSHIBA CD-ROM XM-1802B). Retry?
I've tried anothre method too: There is a live_install shell script on the install cd-rom root dir.
When i try to run in it looks for Mandrake/mkdinst/usr/bin/perl-install/live_install file on the installation cd. There is however live_install2 file in the same directory should i try to patch this shell script to access live_install2 instead of live_install
Any ideas
