error:unknown file system entering grub rescue mode

I have a tamil nadu government laptop with 32-bit windows 7 professional and linux operating systems. But i have deleted the drive where linux is installed when operating in windows os. Now i am getting an error message as "error:unknown file system:entering grub rescue mode" while booting my laptop. Now I need to enter the windows os without this grub interruption, I also need the commands to be entered in grub rescue>. I want this done without losing the windows 7 os and files in the hard disk.

I have tried "Boot repair disk" software to solve this problem. But it is not working.
So please kindly help me rectify this problem.

When you deleted the linux drive you deleted the files grub needs to work. You will either have to install another linux distro, create a small boot partition and reinstall grub form live cd. or use a windows disk to repair.

Just typing "install-grub" while the Live CD/DVD is in the drive should fix the problem; right, colorpurple21859?
(I'm asking because I had the grub rescue prompt once)

@sainadh you have made great progress on your system but post a new thread preferably in Linx From Scratch forum.
