envy m460

I'm thinking about either getting a new PowerBook G4 or Voodoo Envy M460. both have similar enough specs for me and the price is not my biggest factor. That being said, I am very concerned about being able to run linux on the M460 given how new it is. Does anyone have any experience with linux on the M460? Specifically, I'm concerned about Power Management and getting the ATI 9600 PRO (128MB VRAM) to work.

Else, does anyone have a suggestion for a good laptop that:

weighs less than 6# and is less than 1" thick
has at least 64MB VRAM
possible to get linux working
