Embedded Thin Client

I wasn't exactly sure where to ask this. I have an old 300mhz Compaq T20 thin client made for RDP, etc. I was thinkging about trying to replace wince 2.12 with some flavor of linux. Is that possible or would it not even be worth it? I don't know if you can boot to a usb device or not to even think about maybe going that route maybe someone here knows more about thin clients.

If it has a bootable NIC, you can boot Linux on a remote server.

Read this on how-to setup a thin client.
