EeePC 900, no web cam recognized
 

Hi,

I've got trouble with my web cam under Unbuntu (v.10.04).
At first I thought it might be related to the BIOS feature that disables the web cam intill o.s. is fully installed.
But nothing like that is documented anywhere.
I waited for a new release of Ubuntu, that might have solved the problem.
No changes...

Under the preloaded software (Win XP) it's working , so it might be a config. problem...

If there is a workaround, please let me know.

P.s. my netbook is an Asus EeePC 900 (tried one o.s. at a time, for both would be not enought space on SSDs.)

Install Cheese from the repos. My web cam doesn't show up anywhere, it works with Cheese.
