EeePC 1015PED HotKeys w/Ubuntu 10.10 netbook...
I finally got Ubuntu 10.10 netbook installed on my EeePC 1015 netbook. I would like to get the hotkeys working, but all the scripts out there seem to be for Lucid, or seem quite old and out-of-date.
What is the easiest way to get the hotkeys working Ubuntu 10.10 netbook? Thanks, -Ted |
Don't know. AntiX 8.5 and Debian has my Hotkeys working on my EEEPC 900.
Below thread might have something in it for you. Lots of posts and work has gone into it. Maybe Fewt's Jupiter script might be what you are looking for. He also just made Fuduntu. Thread for Fuduntu is located Here. Bugfixing and Working Around Ubuntu 10.4 LTS Lucid Lynx If you have not joined eeeuser.com. I highly suggest you do so. Lots of great info there. |
Thanks. That eeeuser forum is great. I will try posting my question there and see if I can get more action on it.
I really want to get all the pieces working on 10.10 netbook. Most of the suggestions I have received so far are....toss 10.10 netbook, and install XXX instead. Thanks, -Ted |
