edirol and vaio....

Hi there.
installed Agnula on my Laptop (sony Vaio pcg fr315b) and can t get my edirol pcr -a30 to work....
It seems to recognize the midi but just that, no sound card or anything.
Any idea on how to configure all this?

I have an edirol ua-25, and agnula demudi. Mine doesn't work either, near as I can tell the version of ALSA required to use my edirol is 1.0.7. Demudi only has version 1.0.5a and apt-get won't upgrade it past 1.0.6. I'm still looking for a distro that has an ALSA version that works for me. (maybe the latest dynebolic 1.4.1 ,
I'm downloading 600meg via dial up so it will be a while.) The trouble with Debian based distro's is they are too conservative.
