dual monitor?

I have a toshiba satellite 3000 running RedHat 9.0..This laptop has a GeForce2 Go (16mb) card and when running in windows, it can be setup to support dual monitors.. (the laptop screen and an external monitor). I could setup the monitor so that it was either a horizontal span; 2048x768, or a vertical span 1024x 1536... there was also a clone feature too, where the same things were displayed on both monitors..

is it possible to set this up in linux as well?

It's well described in the readme for the Linux drivers @ www.nvidia.com and I think those also apply for their mobile chips.
