Dual-Booting Debian on a MacBook

I want to dual boot Debian Sarge and Mac OS X on a MacBook. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I realize this might be an annoying question, but most of the tutorials out there for this appear to be pre-Boot Camp, or triple-boot (why would I want Windows!?), or different from what I want to do in some other way... so I have come. I am not terribly experienced with Linux, and I'm baffled by some of the tutorials out there (though most are perfectly intelligible, but not what I'm looking for), but I generally know what is going on.

If anyone has done this themselves, it would be great to hear from them.

I am also considering something similar and would appreciate hearing from people with first-hand experience. Does anyone have any input on this topic? Thanks!

I've successfully installed Debian on a new partition now. Details are in the thread "Right-clicking; Macbook".

Come to think of it, I'll go post a bit of an update there.

Could you link to this? Maybe I'm not looking in the right place but I can't find it. Thanks
