do I need cpudyn for Pentium M with kernel 2.6.x


I have an IBM laptop with 1.4 pentium M. i am using kernel 2.6.1 and speedstep-centrino is in kernel.

do I need cpudyn when I am using this module??? am I going to get more battery life with cpudyn?

any experiences?
