Question Display Bachground Light

Hi all,

first, sorry my english is bad :-)

I have a Toshiba Satellite 5200-902. After some weeks some beers and some pizzas I have running a Debian 3.0 with Kernel 2.4.22. ACPI is running well (I hope so). Sond and x is running well to .. my Problem is the bachground light of the Display. (I think is ACPI controlled too). The display is very dark and I cannot user the toshutils. the hotkeys are not running.
toshutils -bl on

HciFunction returned: NOTREADY

tbacklight:
first I try it with a kernel include the toshiba modul. The utils told me, the module is not loadet. So I build a new Kernel with the module to load it after. Now I get the message "this computer is not supported or the kernel module is not installed.

lsmod show me the toshiba module but it is not used "0"

HELP please :-)

cheers Brian

Talking Found a command :-)

now I have found a command

echo "brightness:7" > /proc/acpi/toshiba/lcd

I's running !!!

echo "brightness:6" > /proc/acpi/toshiba/lcd
echo "brightness:5" > /proc/acpi/toshiba/lcd
echo "brightness:4" > /proc/acpi/toshiba/lcd
....

I think it is no problem to add this command in a script ..

Cheers, Brian :-)
