Disable volume knob/whell on Laptop

Hello!

Was wondering if anyone knew how to disable the volume knob/wheel on the front of my Toshiba Laptop. Whenever I accidently brush the front of my machine against me, the volume dialog pops up in X with the volume graph. Quite annoying! I think the wheel is for the headset jack anyway so I don't know why KDE thinks it is for the main system volume. I'm happy with just using the Kmix volume control in my taskbar.

Running Suse 10.2 and KDE 3.5.6. I've checked for all the setting I can think of and I don't see the wheel "tied" with any volume controls.

In KDE goto your Control Center > KDE Components > Service Manager. Goto the Startup Service box and in that list there is one called Kmilo. Uncheck that box and that should stop that feature. May require restart of the X server.
