Dell Wlan 1350 System Lockup

Allright, I installed my DELL WLAN 1350 with ndiswrapper on my laptop, and the thing segfaults when I add a WEP key. So I began using NetworkManager. At first, it connected perfectly. Well I rebooted, and now it's hectic. Anytime NetworkManager trys to connect to my AP, the system freezes completely. And it rarely even gets to the point of connecting to it. However, if I boot over into Windows XP, everything works perfectly. I'm really upset that Fedora doesn't have better support for more WiFi cards and hope that FC4 will fix that on down the line. But at any rate, is there any other way to set up this device so that it doesn't lock up all of the time? And will function as it ought to? I reviewed the system logs and I'm seeing no data as to what went wrong. The last thing I see is an "autoip: Waiting for reply..."

I know this isn't the ideal solution, but I have had months of flawless functionality out of the Linuxant.org drivers using the Dell 1350 card. You pay $20 for them, but it works perfectly. Linuxant is on top of their game too. Every time SuSE sends out a kernel update, linuxant has an updated drivers to match.

Just something to think about.
