Question Dell Latitude C600, openSUSE 10.3, Maestro3 ESS, and ATI Mobility M3

I recently upgraded to openSUSE 10.3 from 10.2. (running on a Dell C600).
Trouble is, the sound card does not work now. The little KMix icon has an error icon on it, the KMix window is empty, and there is no sound. When I try reconfigiring my sound card in YaST, it says that the driver module could not be loaded. What's more, the ATI Mobility M3 card does not have 3D acceleration enabled, this has been a problem with 10.2 as well. Is there anything I am doing wrong? Will happily elaborate on request,
