the card is not recognized in a fedora 17 how can i install the module of that device.

From a very quick look at Dell's website, a link to the Intel page is found, which tells you which devices are supported:

...and from there, you see it uses the ipw2200 module. Putting "ipw2200 fedora" into Google pulls up:

...complete with instructions. Checking the manufacturer website first is always a good starting point...Google doesn't hurt either.
