Dell inspiron 300m with Linux

Maybe I am kinda out of topic.Anyway,I will ask this questions because I am in need to use this laptop with linux when I travel.

I plan to buy a laptop-Dell Inspiron 300M.The price is pretty attractive.Is it good enough to buy?Any linux user use this laptop?What's your opinion upon this laptop?

And the most important question,is it fully compatible with linux distro(I prefer Fedora)?Because I've seen a user who used this laptop cause some problems regarding sound.....

Thanks all if you would give me some suggestions about these 2 questions.

I am using 300m now! I brought it in March this year.
A very slight and beautiful one!
I have insteal RH9 and RHFC2 on it.
Now I used RHFC3, but wireless is aweful!

By the way!
This laptop is very small , so does its coolling fan!
The harddisk in 300m of mine overheated this summer.
I phoned DELL-China. A new harddisk was available on the next day.
So now I pereffer IBM very much!
