Has anyone gotten the 1920x1200 resolution to work with a Dell i8500 and the nVidia GEforce4 4200 Go to work under Fedora? Please let me know how you did it! TIA, Paul
Try searching the Yahoo Group linux-dell-laptops where there is a wealth of knowledge. They also have a file archive with XFree86 configuration files and more, but they currently don't have one for the nv4200 at 1920x1200. But it's certainly a good place to start looking.
