Dell d620 install question
 

I have searched all over and really dont understand the difference between x86_64 and i386 I know that they are diff archs but what I do not get is should I install an i386 version of my distro or x86_64? I am a suse with a centrino duo laptop user but i still can not figure this out.

I think x86_64 is for 64 bit processors like AMD dual core chips amongst others. If you just have a normal P4 processor I would go with i386 or x86 with no _64 on the end. :)
