I have Fedora Core 3 installed on my Dell Latitude D600. So far everything is great, even my wireless LAN card ws easy to get running. Now, my problem....
What Momitor type should I choose under the hardware settings? I have tried all of the Dell Laptop devices as well as the generic ones, but I can't get the resolution to go above 1024x786.
Resilutions above that are presentin in the option list, I can even select a higher resolution (1280x1024) but restarting only reverts back to 1024x786. Now the wierd part! If I go back to set 1280x1024, it's indicated that the higher resolution is already selected! I can get the higher resolutions to be remembered in the option list after selecting them, it's just the actual resolution never goes above 1024x768.
