Delete Ubuntu kernels from dual-boot vista/ubuntu laptop?
After various updates, GRUB has 8 lines of ubuntu kernels that i can load at boot, 4 of them recovery mode versions. Vista also shows up twice.
how can i get rid of the older kernels? I really only need one, and i use Vista mainly when i'm at college just because the campus wifi won't allow linux on the network.
or, is there a good reason the kernels are still there? should I even get rid of them in the first place?
(btw, i'm new here, and moderatly new to linux ( i still have trouble in CLI)).
Thanks.
