Debian On Acer Aspire 3003

I would try to install debian over my Acer aspire 3003 amp sempron 3000+, when it comes to installation screen, i cant see it properly. The screen is slipped down and the lower part of the screen is up. What is the problem with it?

Ive got the same laptop and i installed slackware 10.2 (also tried mepis and mandriva) on it, the only problems ive had is with the framebuffer driver (screen goes blank when i switch from X to console) and the wireless doesnt work, even with ndiswrapper and i had to patch the kernel (2.6.12.5) to be able to read the battery status (google for acpi dsdt patch). Maybe its a issue with debian. Have you tried any other distros? (probably not the answer you wanted)

I have installed debian 3.1 on an Acer Aspire 3000. To see your installation screen at the boot: type linux vga=771 and press enter to start installation. This will reduce your screen font to something that will not run at the end of the screen. Good luck.
