Debian Laptop Aironet 350
 
I just installed Debian 2.4.27 on a old Dell Lattitude Laptop and it's having problems with my Cisco Aironet 350 PCMIA card. When I do iwconfig it shows up as wifi0 but I cannot do iwconfig wifi0 mode monitor then iwlist wifi0 scan I get and error saying no data to read from.
I downloaded the official drivers from cisco but when I do ./install It goes but I keep getting a bunch of syntax errors and it says it was installled but nothing has seemed to change.
Any help would be appreciated.

Now I'm able to do a iwlist scan and that works fine, but I still can't get connected to the network. I do:

iwconfig wifi0 key xxxxxxxx
iwconfig wifi0 essid xxxxxx
ifconfig wifi0 up
dhcpd wifi0
then dhcpd fails, I'm not sure of the error message I don't have that computer with me but when I get a chance I'll post.
