Debian kali linux and wifi on Lenovo g505 laptop

Hi everybody !
I just got a lenovo g505 laptop and i installed debian kali on it.
I googled a lot trying to get wifi working on this machine but i haven't managed, yet!
This the output of lspci -nn:

Quote:
01:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Atheros Communications Inc. Device [1969:10a0] (rev 10)
02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM43142 802.11b/g/n [14e4:4365] (rev 01)
Kali linux has kernel-3.12-kali1-amd64 and 'rfkill list' show no hardware block:

Quote:
0: ideapad_wlan: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
Any help will be appreciated, thanks !

you are using the current 1.0.6 ? right ?
kali-linux-1.0.6-amd64.iso

Kali is Ubuntu based
so use the ubuntu 12.04 lts guides
and you have read through the "troubleshooting" section ?
http://docs.kali.org/category/troubleshooting
and the wirekless section
http://docs.kali.org/troubleshooting...-driver-issues

and remember that Kali is put together by computer SECURITY EXPERTS for use BY COMPUTER SECURITY / NETWORK EXPERTS

Kali has network disabled by default
When you click on wireless icon does it show any networks?
Post output of
Quote:
lsmod
If driver is present try
Quote:
ifup wlan0
